Trade Stand Conditions

Trade Stand Applications will only be taken by online entry.

Applying for a Trade Stand does not guarantee an allocation, all applications must be approved and successful applicants will be notified.

 

  • The Trade Stand holder shall agree that Carnew and District Agricultural Show reserves the right to refuse any application it feels is not suitable and have any trade stand removed or relocated.
  • The allocation and location of Trade Stand space is at the discretion of show management. On arrival Trade Stand holders will be directed to their stand location. No cars, trucks or vans can be parked in their location unless it is within their trade stand area. Vehicles can be parked in the carpark located nearby. Trade stand holders must ensure no damage is caused in their location and it is kept tidy at all times and any litter disposed of appropriately.
  • Trade Stand holders must have their own structure and equipment.
  • The Trade Stand holder must hold their own public liability insurance, with cover expended to provide an indemnity (€2.6 million) to Carnew & District Agricultural Show, its agents and operatives, against any claim for losses, damages or injuries whatsoever that may arise for the duration of Carnew & District Agricultural Show on 18th July 2026 at Umrigar, Carnew including setup and departure. The insurance policy must cover any loss or damage to the property of the trader, its employees, directors, agents, sub-contractors or other authorised persons in or around the site or visitors to the stand space, a copy of which must be provided with their completed application form.
  • All matters associated with the Trade Stand are the sole responsibility of the Trade Stand holder and Carnew and District Agricultural Show accepts no responsibility for it. Carnew and District Agricultural Show cannot guarantee or be held liable for the consumer or audience size of any trade stand or attraction.
  • The sale or use of balloons, noise making toys, flying toys, drones, pellet guns, BB guns, bangers or any items deemed to be dangerous within a showing environment are strictly prohibited. Any Trader in breach of this condition will be removed from the show grounds.
  • All food stalls must be HSE registered and attach confirmation of this with their completed application form.
  • Trade Stand holders shall comply with Health and Safety regulation and comply with all directions of the Safety Officer.
  • Carnew and District Agricultural Show reserve the right to cancel the show and shall not be liable for any loss arising from any such cancellation.
  • Trade Stand Fee can only be paid on the day, by Cash, Cheque, Card or Postal Order.
  • Pre-Paid Trade Stand Fees cannot be refunded in the event of the show being cancelled.
  • Trade Stand Fee is Non-Negotiable.
  • No ticket sellers or hawkers.
  • Applying for a Trade Stand does not guarantee an allocation, all applications must be approved and successful applicants will be notified.
